The terms of employment will differ depending on the relevant vacancy but all posts are pensionable and provide competitive terms and conditions of employment.

Appointment is subject to the following pre-employment security checks;
Security clearance which will be conducted at either Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) for constituency employees or a Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) for Assembly based employees.
