e-Petition: Stop Welsh Being Compulsory in Key Stage Four

open quote / dyfyniad agored

Welsh lessons are compulsory for key stage four students in Wales however scarcely spoken in everyday life. If it is spoken in everyday life children are usually sent to Welsh speaking schools, and develop Welsh like English speaking children develop English. I believe Welsh should be taken off the compulsory curriculum but kept optional.
