Join the National Assembly for Wales, in partnership with the North Wales Women's Centre, to mark International Women's Day - a global celebration of the achievements of women – on 8 March 2019 at the Rhyl Little Theatre.
Guest speaker and world record-holder Steph Jeavons will be sharing her experience as the first person to circumnavigate the globe on a motorcycle – an adventure that took her to 54 countries over four years.
Discussing this year's theme, Balance for Better, Chair and Assembly Deputy Presiding Officer, Ann Jones AM will be joined by Cerys Furlong (Chwarae Teg), Poppy Johnson (Faces by Poppy) and Mair Stephens (Women's Insitute) to discuss their achievements, their inspirations, the barriers women face within society and how they can be overcome.
Help us celebrate the achievements of the women of Wales and beyond in calling for a more gender-balanced world on International Women's Day.
For better the balance, better the world.
