Purpose of the post:
This post sits within the Parliamentary Venues and Visitor Service team, which ensures customers have the best possible experience when visiting the Assembly. The team also provides a bilingual, impartial information service to raise the public's understanding of the National Assembly for Wales.
The post holder will be responsible for providing a professional and efficient information service through voice and email channels together with a reception service for members of the public visiting the North Wales office.
Reporting to the Public Information Team Leader the successful candidate will be corresponding with the public and Assembly Members relating to requests for information regarding, visits, attending events and varied engagement opportunities arranged by the Assembly.
This role requires a good eye for detail, strong communication and customer service skills. The ability to communicate confidently with people at all levels is essential for this role. An interest in welsh politics and the National Assembly for Wales would be advantageous.
This is a full-time post although flexible working arrangements will be considered, subject to meeting the needs of the Assembly and its Members. A rota is in operation to cover 08.20 to 17.30.
