Digital Content Manager (Welsh Essential)
Salary Range: Management Band 2 (£26,917 - £36,909)

Purpose of the Post:
As Digital Content Manager for the National Assembly for Wales, you will be responsible for planning, creating and implementing innovate and engaging digital content. Working as part of the Digital, Design and Brand team you will be responsible for representing the Assembly's voice and brand across multiple digital channels.
Reporting to the Senior Digital Media Manager, the successful applicant will be a multi-disciplinary communicator with demonstrable experience of delivering high quality content on a variety of platforms including social media, web and video, and with experience of working on integrated campaigns. You will have a keen eye for detail with a strong capacity for developing high quality digital content and managing processes and work flows to deliver goals and objectives
This post sits within the Communications Service. The role of the Digital Communications Team is to shape the Assembly's digital presence to reach, inspire, enable and inform the people of Wales about the role and work of the Assembly. We use best practice to make it easy for anyone online to discover, access, engage and meaningfully participate on their own terms.
The successful candidate will implement strategies and support policies related to online platforms across the organisation. They will uphold standards and drive the digital citizen engagement agenda, while also creating resources and delivering training for internal stakeholders, including staff and Assembly Members. Excellent customer service skills are important, as are general communication skills.
Pattern of Working
This is a full-time post although flexible working arrangements may be considered, subject to meeting the needs of the Assembly and its Members.
