Higher Research Officer – Environment and Transport

Salary Range:£26,917 - £36,909

*Please note that recruitment will normally be at the minimum of the range.

Purpose of the post:

The Research Service is looking to appoint a Higher Research Officer to join its Environment and Transport Research Team. The policy areas covered by the team include agriculture, forestry, climate change, sustainable development, energy, food and drink, water and flooding, nature conservation, marine and fisheries, animal welfare, land use planning, waste and transport.

This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in the workings of the Assembly during a period of significant change as the UK prepares to leave the EU.

The successful candidate will have the responsibility for providing research services for individual Assembly Members and supporting the activities of Assembly committees working a range of the team's subject areas.

Pattern of Working:   

This is a full time post. Flexible working arrangements will be considered subject to meeting the needs of the Assembly and its Members.
