Working for an Assembly Member

Assembly Members are also employers in their own right and usually employ people both in their constituency, and in Cardiff Bay.

The terms of employment will differ depending on the relevant vacancy but all posts are pensionable and provide competitive terms and conditions of employment.

On behalf of Assembly Members, as part of any recruitment process, the National Assembly for Wales collects and processes personal data relating to job applicants. You can view our full GDPR privacy notice here.

If you would like to work for an Assembly Member, please see below for further details.

Please note that the content of job advertisements is the responsibility of the recruiting Assembly Member.  Applicants should seek authorisation for the reimbursement of interview expenses prior to any costs being incurred. To discuss further, please email the relevant contact within the Job and Person Specification.
