Projects and workshops

The Outreach Team work with a range of organisations and stakeholders across Wales on a local and national level delivering presentations and workshops to encourage understanding of and engagement with the Assembly.

The Outreach team aims to ensure that citizens across Wales have an understanding of who represents them, the legislative process, how the Assembly holds the Welsh Government to account and the engagement opportunities available to them.

We create and maintain partnerships with organisations across Wales. Each partnership created is unique to the organisation and is based on their aims and objectives.

Working with Assembly Committees and engaging with the public

The Outreach Team supports Assembly Committees scrutinise the work of the Welsh Government, by facilitating engagement between Assembly Members and the people of Wales. We engage diverse groups of people from across Wales who would otherwise be unheard in the scrutiny process, in issues which are important to them, using a range of techniques including web-chats, video interviews, surveys, events, and focus groups to facilitate this engagement.
