UKRI PhD student placements
UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Policy Internships Scheme provides an opportunity for PhD students funded by the UK Research Councils to work for three months in one of a selected group of highly influential organisations, including the National Assembly for Wales. The Assembly has now hosted more than 40 PhD students through this scheme since 2006. Further information about the scheme is available here.
Previous interns have found the experience of working at the Assembly to be very valuable – see these three recent articles by former students: Eleanor Warren-Thomas, Piotr Wegorowski and Rachel Prior.
