Welcomes Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month November 2014;

Congratulates all third sector organisations, and their supporters, on their work throughout Wales to raise awareness;

Welcomes the initiative, Purple Lights for Hope, aiming to light up in purple as many buildings as possible on 1st November;

Notes that pancreatic cancer has the worst survival rate of the 21 most common cancers in Wales, with less than 4% of people diagnosed surviving five years or longer;

Calls upon the Welsh Government to work with charities, service providers and health professionals to improve awareness, research, diagnosis, treatment and outcomes across the country.
