Weekly Timetable I Recess Dates I Schedule for Oral Questions

In accordance with Standing Order 11.9, the Business Committee of the Fifth Assembly has agreed the following Assembly Timetable

For meeting dates and details please see the Calendar of meetings.

Weekly Timetable:

On Tuesday 05 July 2016 the Business Committee agreed the following 2 week rotational timetable for Assembly Business during the Fifth Assembly to start from 12 September 2016. On 26 September 2017 the Business Committee agreed a request by the Standards of Conduct Committee to allow an additional meeting on alternate Tuesdays if required.

Schedule for Oral Questions

Officer

Dates

First Minister

Every Tuesday between 13.30 – 14.15 for a maximum of 45 minutes during Assembly sitting weeks, except for once every four sitting weeks where the item will be scheduled for 60 minutes and the Deputy Minister and Chief Whip will answer questions for the last 15 minutes of this session on matters relating to her responsibilities.

Welsh Ministers

Every Wednesday 13.30 – 15.00 for a maximum of 45 minutes each on a rotational basis during Assembly sitting weeks. This includes the Counsel General and Brexit Minister in respect of his or her Brexit Minister responsibilities.

Counsel General

Once every four sitting weeks on Tuesday for a maximum of 30 minutes in respect of his or her law officer responsibilities.

Assembly Commission

Once every four sitting weeks on Wednesdays for a maximum of 30 minutes starting on 29 June 2016
